Thanks to all the kids that came out to see us at the Loose Cockaboose. Had no idea what to expect when we got there, but it was a pretty cool place. They could be a good live venue if they had a permanent PA. Sound issues aside, this was my favorite show. It was fun to butcher the works of the great David Bowie. Also, special thanks to Katy Renfroe for hooking us up with the gig. I want to give a shout out to Chris McKay (of the Critical Darlings) and Tyler Cook (of Brass to the Future) for coming up on stage and lending a hand. Was quite fun. I’m in the process of getting the video footage up for you guys to see what you missed and/or relive the night. Once the footage is up then I’ll post the full show report as well. ROCK.
That’s right, just check out the show report page to watch video of the ENTIRE show. All you have to do is click on the song title to be whisked away to the youtube video. All of the between song banter and heckling is included for your amusement. Hope you enjoy. If not, that’s ok too. You’ll just have to be left out of the loop when all your buddies are chatting about these vids around the water cooler tomorrow morning. You don’t want to be that guy do you?
First off, here’s the show report (at least my perspective) of the show last Saturday night at New Brookland. If you were there, feel free to add your comments on that page as well. We’d love to hear what you thought.

I love seeing what people search for to find our page. The bottom ones are always the best. I mean, c’mon, “rick springfield live on a robot,” “richard bearboy on tagged.com,” “love crafts for him.” I especially like that last one, y’know, since I’m obsessed with porn. At least according to the Free Times! So yeah…

Richard, Bearboy, Roybone, Allin
Introducing the NEW Lovecrafts. With some lineup changes in effect, the Lovecrafts proceeded to ROCK New Brookland Tavern for the 2nd time. We had a blast, I must say. I think this new line up is the one to stick. With the departure of guitarist Tillman, Bearboy did an admiral job in learning the material and he pulled out all the stops with his performance. He has now been voted band leader. Anyway, at the show, we debuted several new songs including “Chad,” “Stepfriend Dad,” and a cover of the Rick Springfield classic “Love Is Alright Tonight.” The kids in attendance ate it up.
Welcome to the slimmed down Lovecrafts 2.0. We’re ROCK so hard you can climb it!

- The Lovecrafts in Columbia, SC
Well folks, as promised by the Nilla earlier, here’s some video footage from last night’s debut show in Columbia, SC. This is our set closing double shot of “Robot With Aids” and “Man Machine.” What do you think? We really want to thank everyone who showed up to support us. If you couldn’t make it, there will be a next time.
